The sharp rise in youth unemployment rates, reaching a peak of 42.5% in 2021, has left many young people feeling hopeless about their future. To help them develop the necessary skills and secure decent work, it is vital to provide them with tools and support. Fortunately, the ongoing digitalization of the world presents an opportunity for young people to receive training and acquire the skills needed to find employment or start their own businesses.<\/p>\n
As part of its efforts to address youth unemployment, APEC has planned to raise awareness among Tunisian youth about the opportunities available and help them access digital skills training in 2022\/23.<\/p>\n
To bridge the digital divide and improve the employability of young people with limited learning and employment prospects, APEC has partnered with Gomycode, a digital skills training school.<\/p>\n
Together, they have organized ten Open Days to inform and educate young people about the potential of digital professions.<\/p>\n
