Initiation to Theater<\/h1>\n

In addition to citizenship education, APEC offers an initiation to theater as a form of cultural expression.<\/p>\n

  2. Create a peaceful space for socializing and freedom away from societal violence.<\/li>\n
  3. Encourage the expression of body language.<\/li>\n
  4. Promote self-confidence while fostering respect for the opinions of others.<\/li>\n
  5. Enhance the level of general culture among the youth.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Results<\/h4>\n

    Theater has proven to be an effective tool in achieving these goals.<\/p>\n

    Our observations have shown that:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Youth become more confident and free to express themselves physically<\/li>\n
    • Girls and boys are comfortable in mixed spaces, and communication is more open.<\/li>\n
    • Theater frees up thoughts and emotions, leading to a decline in verbal violence.<\/li>\n
    • The discipline and diligence required in theatrical performances also lead to the development of analytical thought among participating youth.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
